Re: Deals On Gear and Software

I've been using Massive for years... probably almost as long as I've been around SF. This year for FAWM I got the Maschine Mk3 and with that I qualified for the Crossgrade pricing on Massive X. Got it yesterday and it is a lot of fun.

Re: Good free Android podcast app

I use Podcast Republic, which I mostly like, but it sometimes has trouble finding things that are rare, like Song Fight!
but hey I just tried it and it's there. Search for "songfight".

Re: Or else (Bend the Knee prefight)

Hey! Finally giving Songfight a go. Been doing FAWM for 7 years now I think, so I know a few names here (hey @vowlvom @owl, probably some others 👋). Hey Lowest Bitter! I am familiar with you from FAWM. I am grateful to you for posting up those unfinished tracks a few years ago, I sang over one of t...

Re: Luke Cage

Er... yay for more services that only have one show you might want to watch? That you would have to subscribe to to see that one show? And waste a lot of money not watching the other ones? It seems to me like a terrible idea. I see what ken's saying, more piracy; either that or just not watching int...

Re: Brother Machine/Seth Gibbs Hxaro

Did this happen? I always really liked his stuff. I'd cover something when I finish my, uh, most recent cover.
I do remember Seth being the same guy. I kinda wanted to be mad at him for entering twice but his songs we just that fantastic that I left it alone.
Was there one week he did 3?

Re: Who Voted Today?

Why do you people vote on Tuesdays? That is insane. Historical. According to wikipedia: In 1845, the United States was largely an agrarian society. Farmers often needed a full day to travel by horse-drawn vehicles to the county seat/parish seat to vote. Tuesday was established as election day becau...

That's a really cool idea.

Please do record the whole thing for those of us that can't be there!

Re: Nur Ein XIII Final Round "The End"

The vote is now in the hands of the eliminated contestants, as well as the judges. Oops, I didn't think the judges voted in the final round. I've been working at Cub Scout camp all week and I've been exhausted every day. Anyway, I just finally got to hear these songs. Merisan's is beautiful, love t...

Re: Nur Ein XIII Round Six "Fan Theory"

I was on vacation while doing the reviews, with very bad internet, that then went out entirely. So here are my slightly-belated reviews. Carlo - i like the organ here, but the whole song seems a little ponderous. Makes it seem longer than it actually is. Merisan - i only ever saw the first episode o...

Re: Nur Ein XIII: Songs and Scores (no comments)

Round Six of Nur Ein XIII is in the record books.

The winner of Round Five is Vom Vorton(who still doesn't get immunity), who will go head-to-head against Merisan (who is repeating their final appearance) in the final!
Owl Chemist, Rob From Amersfoort, and Carlo Bruno Jr. are eliminated. Tsch!
