Hmm the download link is giving me a "HTTP ERROR 500", is this just a load thing or is it broken?

Re: I put a spell on you... (Love Magic reviews)
it's a good one, agent chaos, although i've been talking to starfinger that i think the mix needs some work. the vocals are a little weirdly hollow and as some others have said the solo doesn't stand out enough. weird and cool though. sorry i didn't get to hear any of the other songs. i would have l...

Re: Is it Bandcamp Friday?
I just released a new album and it's on Bandcamp:
https://heuristicsinc.bandcamp.com/albu ... s-prologue
There aren't any Songfight! songs on there, but they're all from FAWM and all were tracks I made using stems from another artist there named zecoop.
And yeah it is Bandcamp Friday.

Re: The MP3 Effect
In photography - The DSLR doesn't have digital zoom and that makes a lot of difference. That why most of my cellphone shots are not good. I thought this might happen, where people would chime in with their thing they are fine with the MP3 version of, followed by someone saying that no, that's the $...

Re: Happy 2024! Got any plans, goals, etc.?
i guess i didn't post anything last year, but this year i am finally releasing another album. this one will be instrumental or old-film-sample tracks featuring (mostly) drums by zecoop from FAWM. Nothing SF related on it though.

Re: Halloween 2023
those inflatables seem really hard to deal with. i saw some kids collecting candy for their friend because they couldn't do it. bizarre.
we did a trunk-n-treat event at the school and gave away a LOT of candy.

Re: Bandcamp's implosion and some alternatives
CDBaby's streaming stuff was pretty awful for a while but they've redone their pricing to actually be competitive. I think there's still better deals out there though. yeah, all my stuff so far is on cdbaby so that's kind of like you but on a different service. trying to follow that other thread, s...

Re: Bandcamp's implosion and some alternatives
Hmm I was going to release an album soon, but I looked at bandcamp and it all still seemed legit. Is cdbaby's access to streaming services still a good deal?

Re: Fixing typos in the archive data
Not sure if we talked about this before but I'm confused about the two bands below: Dollar Bill & the Inkpoints (10) Dollar Bill & the Inkpoints (7) As far as I can tell the names are identical but they are on two pages. Really there is just one band. Actually there aren't even two pages, ju...

Re: Holy microtonality, Batman! (New Modality reviews)
Daniel Sitler : that change at :44 was really nice and unexpected. the stronger version that comes in the next time makes for some nice motion in the song. Ellipsis : nice guitar interplay. very cool sound effects in the solo. i wasn't sure about this one earlier but this solo is bringing it up a n...
