Re: There Will Be Hovercraft (Future on the Road Reviews)
I'm just going to pick out the ones that stood out for me - can't be bothered going through critiquing everything I don't like. Todd McHatton - I like this muchly. Sincere, but not too serious. good vocal harmonies. A couple of bits definitely sound familiar - some 90s surf-pop band probably. If I k...

Oh, I'm definitely not!BBABM wrote:i was just being bitter, please don't take it personally. it was a good song.
I was fairly intoxicated and dressed as a vicar last night for Halloween anyway. Any rage was Jack Daniels fuelled ;o

Re: Crashing Cars, Reviewing Stars (awards)
HaHa...unexpectedbowtie friend flooded the fuck out of this fight. ...although, he/they did in fact get a vote from me. Pretty good little ditty. If I had friends, I'd agree with you. If winning meant anything, I'd agree with you.. It's SongFight.. Win or lose is properly irrelevant; i...

Re: Crashing Cars, Reviewing Stars (awards)
There are often more people reading than you think. It's still a bit of a shock. I don't ever post asking for people to vote for anything, as I think it's pointless and self-indulgent.. I purposefully don't have a Facebook and so forth to avoid the idea of pimping it out. Because it was my first ev...

Re: After Hours of Careful Consideration (After Hours Reviews)
I didn't have a chance to record/write anything this week that didn't sound incredibly cringey (you may find this hard to believe given last week's entry from myself mind you) Having listened through all the songs, I've picked out a few and written some words: Sockpuppet - I liiiiiiked this, but it ...

Re: Crashing Cars, Reviewing Stars (awards)
Holy shiiiii... I posted one thing on my blog that has 6 people who read it about SongFight, so that's a bit of a shocker. Shocked that Rev and Pineapples only got 13. I thought they would have won. Cheers all D: p.s. I don't have Facebook ;) (or Myspace... or anything else apart from the blog for t...

Hello. I'm the newest n00b.
Hello there. I've gazed with admiration at songfight for years - always cursing my own lack of microphones and creativity for being unable to enter. The idea of recording/writing a song in one week was mind boggling. Now that I'm older and wiser, or now that I've gotten over myself, I've returned to...

Re: Crashing Cars, Reviewing Stars (awards)
Got to say, I love the Rev and Pineapples track. The speaky, sortof monotone vocals are great. Same as BBABM, the bass was non-existent on laptop speakers, which is a shame. Listening to music on a laptop though... it's my own fault for being lazy. Steve Durand - that is the craziest, most awesome t...

Re: Missing Song..
No botherrr.. I had checked everything so carefully. I can't believe that I managed to get the wrong title o_O
I'll hold off till nearer the submission date in future if that helps!
Cheers for sorting things out though.

I just dug through my emails and saw that I'd written 'Chasing' instead of Crashing..
Sorry about that. Typo
I tried so hard too...

Missing Song..
Hello...
first time songfighter here.
I submitted my song for this week way before the deadline.. (Crashing Cars, Awarding Stars)
unexpectedbowtie_ccas.mp3 was the filename - 3.3mb... yet I've not appeared on the list.
Can someone enlighten me as to what's gone wrong?
Thanken
