I'm sorry, was this aimed at me?

The best way to take care of your guitar is to keep it in conditions similar to your body. Don't leave it in the cold or heat. Keep it in the case when you aren't using it. Those kinds of things. I've got a friend with a vintage Telecaster that likes to use scrubbing bubbles on his neck to clean his...

XP is great for audio. Check out http://www.musicxp.net for tips on optimizing your system for audio. I highly suggest you go with a firewire device for recording if you are planning on upgrading your computer at this time. On the cheap you could get a used MOTU 828 mk1 for around $300.

Great show all! People said it was one of the most consistently good shows we've put on. I had a great time meeting, hanging out, and playing with everyone. Thanks to Sean for putting on a trouble free event. Audio sounds great and I look forward to having the time to explore all the tracks and phot...

That's an interesting idea. What if you got an interest payment on your credit, like one download a month for $5 or more credits. I mean an idea like this, you aren't going to bank hundreds of dollars waiting for an album you like to pop up. $5 in the bank is cheap for nickel downloads. You weren't ...

I got their CD at Target for cheap after a friend recommended it. I didn't think it was all that great, but lately can't get enough of the production. If you like the songwriting, you should check out the Reindeer Section. It is the same singer/songwriter with an all-star indie collab group.

The fake drums just make way too much sense in my current stage. I know they don't feel the same and all that, but at this point, I just want good-sounding drums that are easy to record and play. I think a great drum sound can be gotten with just one condensor mic. Listen to most of Loyalty Day and...

I think the coffehouse idea is a good one, but not if it competes with the main performances. I don't like the idea of a second stage where you have to choose who you want to see. Perhaps it isn't too early to start seeing who intends to attend. Sober: Perhaps you can bring a box of extra strings/ca...
