I remember that fights were mostly two weeks when I first started songfight. I would write the song the first week, and work on the arrangement the second. It was a nice pace.

Them Dukes, them Dukes... (Moon Shine Reviews)

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,

That sounds like an excellent idea - I'll try to give it a go

Just watched Magnolia over the weekend. Can get Aimee Mann's Bachelor #2 out of my CD player. I totally tried to steal his style for Loyalty Day's Cover.

Since we are normally Drink Drank Drunk, we thought the Artist name "DDD" would be more appropriate this time.

Honestly, I don't think kids will take it that way. You should leave it as is.

When I get into practicing, it is usually with "stick control" and a metronome. I've also got a book of patterns called "funky primer".

I thought most soundcards had a mic input as well as a line input. Couldn't you use that for your mic?

What kind of string is best for this? Would yarn work, or is there a special drummer's string I should buy?

I've used it a lot lately for bass. http:...

Let's keep a list. Full working versions are best, but demos too: Full suite of free plug-ins. The Compressor is my favorite, which I use all the time. Have you cleared out your registry? That is probably where it sees that you had installed it on your system. Delete all you cookies, clean your registry, and if you feel comfortable doing it, manually go into it and delete anything that says Antares.

Hey Jim, I just wanted to add that the Oxygen8 is made by M-Audio, who also make a cool little backpack to hold it and a laptop as well as accessories. It is USB and has drivers for Sonar to get the midi messages. It is probably your best bet. I've seen other little controllers at Fry's and such tha...

Hey,

You need to dither!

Not knowing your set-up, I'm not sure what to tell you. Do you have an audio/wav editing program that may have dithering capabilities? I've found that with some you can do a "save as" and just choose 16 bit vs. 24. Good luck.
