phpBB's edit permissions take some getting used to, though I think the defaults do allow you to delete posts even if they've been replied to, as long as you were logged in when you made the original post. Install ntp, if you have that kind of access.

If it's already installed, there are several good public NTP servers available. time.apple.com is good, even if you're not using an Apple product (they have no way of telling anyway).
