Purple Tongue

I figure I'll post here, since Tyrian purple and less than crisp vocals do not a perspicuous story make. Here I am at the gates of Constantine Dance, dog, dance I believe I can read your mind. I could floor the passing general 'cause I once made hay. Hush the palace priests with what little I pray. ...

Haven't done so myself; but it's a nice site to listen to as well.

!! It is very good. That's a true composition. Bravo!

(Comment not relative to anything else by anyone, as I've only just listened to this one, randomly.)

Crashes Reaper, for me.
I should've specified I use it in Music Studio Producer (which costs $£€0 if you want to give it a shot).

Plain songs - the fawmit song is two separate songs (one called half empty and one called half full) played together, one in each ear. it's supposed to be hardpanned and strange sounding. Mmmokay! Yeah I did get the full/empty contrast in the lyrics in each ear, but I was perhaps too bothered by th...

Andre was here at midnight : A nice but a little uneventful song. The lyrics are out of sync here and there, like "these days are kicking my ass" and "there's like ten of them". I know very little about basketball so I may not get everything... It gets more eventful when the ele...

You've come back to this village where you and I were born You still look like the morning but your maidenhead is torn. You recognize the pastor but he smiles a cautious smile at the cross still on your necklace at the dagger on your thigh. You say you're half full of the Devil and half empty of God...

I wanted the song to build in volume from the beginning so I went back and acousticified it. Good choice! I really wanted it to sound like 4 guys, not like one guy multi-tracked. ... A nice free VST SoundFont player if the popular SFZ doesn't work for you: VSTSynthFont . Its advantage over similar plugins is that by loading one big multi-instrument soundfont file you can use it in up to 16 channels. So you don't need to reload the whole orchestra file for every single-instrument...

Have ya read Brave New World. Awesome. Indeed! Have ya read "Island", too? It's Huxley's last book, a sort of antithesis to Brave New World, about a utopia that is not fake. It's more mature and double awesome. Other mid-20th century classics: - "Iceland's Bell" (Islandsklukkan)...

Glad to read that! Circumstances can lead to no polish but you don't want to spurn a child for its tacky apparel; maybe someone will think it has pretty eyes.

free noise filter with spectral subtraction?

Hi folks, Does anyone know a free program or plugin that uses spectral subtraction to remove noise? Music Studio Producer (frieve.com, recommended!) is an excellent free DAW which for me has only two bad points: hardly an English manual, and no good noise filter. There is a noise gate but that doesn...

Boltoph Very nice! This grooves along, with a lot of detail and a very sweet guitar; good combination of quiet and rocking parts. Somehow I'm catching only snippets of the lyrics, but that's fine. The jazzy coda is cool, too! Emergency Pizza Party From the opening line I wasn't excited about the su...

I forget what he said their touring plans were. Not UK soon. Calgary I hope for you! Or pop over to Finland tomorrow. Steven Wilson didn't strike me as creepy so much as a bit severe. He did made a joke or two though, and relayed how one of the local football teams was doing (not well, I'm afraid :)...
