OK, I got a drumbeat for this week and have created something insane!!! Now I need to add some vocals. Any interest parties in such an undertaking at such short notice? If so, PM me and I will send you the madness as well as some lyrics sometime during the night. Anyone up for joining the madness of...

I just wanna say thank you to Abecedarian for covering SGIM on this Hxaro. I wrote this one and Jack did a great version and now so did you. (That makes 4 awesome versions of this tune!!!)

Niv's Review Paragraph I'm going to take a break from listening to So So Many White White Tigers and do my last reviews of the week. Hans Gruber is first. And he's bringing the Howard Jones this week mixed with a little Peter Gabriel. I'm digging the 80's new wave today, so this is a contender. All ...

Niv's Review Paragraph Fight on! Hostess Mostess is up firstess. You don't ask for directions from a pasty white man? why not? Why am I trying to decipher HM lyrics. He's our Mars Volta. I'm digging this despite the lyrics, much like the aforementioned At the Drive In offshoot. Next, Fancy Boy &...

x-tokyo needs u

The ongoing musical experiment is looking for musicians to join the x-tokyo band. I'm tiring of these very synthetic drumlines and would love for someone to send me a drumbeat for me to run with and cover with odd backward bits and soundscaping and crazy whatnot. Is there anyone out there who'd be i...

Niv's Review Paragraph. Nigel is first to die. I love how brits say Eggs & Toast. We'll wake the wildlife is an awesome life. Definite front runner for the vote. I love this song. Hard act to follow. Who's the unlucky one? 8 minutes of Charcoal . I see he's going the Cure route which is a smart ...

Niv's Review Paragraph. Ah. There's nothing like the first reviews of the day. The stream of conscious is fresh and new. So, I'm starting with the Saint Peter fight. And I'm starting off with my track ( x-tokyo-river-god ). The on-going experiment continues and I don't know if this one was too succe...

"Lime 6" by Medicine

A 16:29 experimental live track. I was wondering where all these crazy x-tokyo ideas come from in my head. I found my answer (well, at least a puzzle piece).

My vote is for whatever the FM's decide.

Songfight is a challenge and the due date is one of the factors. We just have to deal with it.

Yes, Power Station covered T-Rex's "Get it On" and Isley Brothers' "Harvest for the World" but didn't cover "Maneater". Maybe you're mixing it up with their song "Murderess"?
