Year 1 in the suburban life just got that much stranger. Carolers. Dude. That's unbelievable to a city kid like me. If you caroled door to door in my old neighborhoods, you'd get shot. I grew up in suburbs and I've never seen carolers. I thought that was just one of those things that people just do...

I have never met any other songfighters. It's weird since I first songfought in 2003. You'd think I'd have met another songfighter in a four year period. I've only once met someone on the internet and then met them in real life.

I had a normal day. qotd: When I get sick I still do normal stuff. I don't ever get sick enough to not be able to still do schoolwork and workwork. It's usually just a cold or something. I had strep throat a few weeks ago. I still did the normal routine. Except I didn't drink with friends or anythin...

qotd: Yes. The best book I've read in the last year was David Griffith's A Good War is Hard to Find. It's a really great creative nonfiction book dealing with the media and violence and it centers around the abu ghraib photos. It's incredibly well written. http://www.softskull.com/detailedbook.php?i...

I agree with whoever said Steven Wright. That guy's comedy is perfect. Today I woke up at a friend's house and could hear everyone who lived there in the other room. It was weird. I stayed in the bed awake for a while and didn't know what to do. Then I went out and they were watching the Casper movi...
