I spent the weekend with Spud, and I am assured that a show will happen. A venue's not yet confirmed, but he'll make it happen, cap'n. The guy had a beer sponsor in 2003. Come on.

I'll play some KSDBNS or KNI on the PA before the show starts in the 'Scow.

Yeah this album has been a staple for me over the past couple years. It's beautiful, oddly enough. Also if you can track it down, Ben Folds' album Fear of Pop has an amazing track with Shatner. It's also a weird as fuck/awesome album. I prefer the live version of that from Conan. <a href="http...

QOTD: Ferraby Lionheart . He has one of those perfectly imperfect voices that I love. I think he's going to become a known name in the near future. A great blend of folk and melodramatic pop at it's best. Worth a listen if you haven't heard him before. He's part of my easy listening play list. Yes,...

Probably not really, though. Margin of error, dude.

Nevertheless, I'm expecting him to win TX's popular and delegate counts.

I was ready to say "I sure am sick of articles about compression/hotness," but that was pretty good.

I should write some more. I've been very busy volunteering and working for the University of Idaho's jazz festival. So, it's going to be in the ballroom. I'm not sure what the configuration is going to be. It's a pretty generous ballroom, and if there isn't a great turnout it'll look kind of empty. ...

I think I'm visiting Austin between March 10 and March 17. And now I'm 21! And I can pay Erik back for the chicken parmesan sandwich he paid for at the Alamo Drafthouse, where hopefully I'll be able to visit another four times.

We started The Sound of Music last night, and will finish it tonight. This was remastered in 2006 and it looks amazing. Say what you like, but this is a great movie. I just bought the BBC series Planet Earth on DVD, having seen some snippets on PBS. Looking forward to my hotel nights to watch it. h...
