Bolio wrote:"Pearl of The Quarter" -or- "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" would suit me just fine... Great songs I'd never expect to see referenced here...
Unlike the last coverfight, who gets what person in the GoM is completely random. So, hope for the best.

Hey, Adjuster, you did the cover for me last year and I never complained that you didnn't Landfillize it. It would've been cool but your cover of BBR's "Child Psychology" was great and I still listen to it more than the original.

Doc Worm, this is separate from coverfight so welcome aboard. And Neil, yes others have heard of the Sneaker Pimps. But only Becoming X is "cliche, boring and drawn out techno/crap". But without Kelli Dayton, they stopped sounding like that. If you can find "Splinter" (not releas...

Thanks for reminding me, HInc. If you put a song on your list, please we able to produce a copy of that song, just in case your giftgiver needs it And as for the other questions- No, we are not banning Josh. But if he wants in, he'll have to do a cover for someone new as well as a belated cover for ...

The Gift of Music (SF's Holiday Cover Challenge)

Last year, we had a blast with this and a couple of people asked me if we would do this again. So, it's on again. The Gift of Music . And this time I'm sending out the word much earlier so that we can actually finish sometime around the holiday season. :D Here's the concept- anyone who wants to be a...

Most often Tri-State Area refers to New York, New Jersey & Conneticut. Though I have heard it used for other places, most of the time it's those 3. And I'm not just saying that because I'm in New York. Type Tri-State Area into Google and see what you find.

Here Jon, someone decided to post badly made MP3's of the Lush songs on their Geocities site. That ought to give you a taste of their sound. I personally suggest "Deluxe", "For Love", any song from "Split" and, of course, their hit single "Ladykillers". http:/...

Hey, are Lush any good? And I mean, I like the Cocteau Twins; are they similar? Or are they different, but still good? Or not really that good?

Mash-up

Despite my acoustic leanings, I love mash-up. And I was wondering if there were others on the board who share a fondness for the art of taking two songs and blending them into one.

Here's an interesting one I just found today:
Hey we will rock ya as done by DJ Prince.
