I'm definately in this. I'm about to go on holidays for a week with a group of old school mates and their families - lots of kids. I was going to take my laptop and get the kids to write a songfight entry for me - but this sounds like a more worthwhile project for them to work on. I'll let you know ...

Wow, who'd have thought my simple question would have created such heated debate. For the record, I'm contemplating a Tri-State area song about Cameron's Corner - the point in the middle-of-nowhere where the borders of NSW, QLD and SA meet - but I'm also about to go on holidays for a week - so I may...

Hmmm. I'm pretty sure I didn't use any scales, just piano... I was gonna transform the pachelbel part and play it with most keys in the same key, then transition to them being in D, but I found it taking too much time learning that so...(INTERESTING QUESTION: is it cause the violins don't actually ...

Just out of curiosity, does the term 'tri-state area' generally refer to any three states in particular or can it be used for any three states in general?

I've heard the term on US TV before, but never really understood what it meant.

HM: Great news! I'm expecting our first baby in January, and suspect as well that SF'ing will be tough to squeeze in for a decade or two as well... But we've GOT to try... :) Congratulations! Funnily enough - I discovered Songfight as a result of our baby's arrival. Our first, little Caravan Harrie...

The very first song I submitted to SongFight prompted the following review from Richard Wreckdom: "People usually play music for one of many reasons: They truly enjoy making music, They are arrogant, Money. Why do you do it? Figure out why you're doing it, and stab it in the chest." Harsh,...

Max The Cat: Good song – fun lyrics, great boppy sort of rhythm. Good work. Loyalty Day: Pretty good – vox good, like the ‘laugh riot’ bit – well put together song – slow bit with the laughing isn’t good, however this is definitely a potential vote. Great ending Feldspar?: Do not like MC Crappy Pan...

Kaos reviews: Hentai Death Kitty – This sounds like the rotting corpse of Ian Curtis has been dug up and forced to sing Duran Duran’s “Planet Earth”. I’m picturing a lot of bad 80’s haircuts. Nice work production wise – but not doing it for me Jeremy Martin – Nice melody. A bit more warmth/strength ...

My thoughts... Caravan Ray I really dig the song, great music neat sounds & effects. Very Creative. HOWEVER- the extreme panning is terrible. I was listening with headphones and it was VERY annoying. I listened again through my speakers and it was still very distracting. I would love ...

I did a review for this, but it seems to have been lost. Anyway - in brief: I loved the Unkones (obviously), Hell Yeahs, J$, Wilson Heights Gang and Calfborg and Ice Weasles. All of those deserved to win - this was a really top quality fight In the end though, I voted for Mr Cashpont - that was a gr...
