One of the few Christmas gifts I got this year was a 4-pack of Tuckerman's 6288 Stout. Delicious.

Apparently this drink is called a Sea Breeze. It tastes like lime and it's getting me off to a right good start.

It's basically two guys on stage, taking turns playing songs on the piano. The set is largely request-driven, and as a result, I've found myself playing piano versions of songs by The Go-Gos, Motorhead, Johnny Cash, Corey Hart, Metallica, Squeeze, et cetera. Lots of Billy Joel and Elton John request...

QotD: Recording as much as possible. I've got five songs for the CD that are ready for mastering, and eight or nine to go. Playing a few shows too; I've been doing (half of) a Dueling Pianos show for the last few weeks, and that's got me driving over to Burlington VT on Thursdays. Tomorrow (Tuesday)...

I'm about 3500 words into my book. A bit off my daily mark, but not bad, taking all things into account.

I'm also very happy with my list. There is something on everybody's list that I know I'd have fun doing; the one I got has four legitimate (and fun) possibilities. Can't ask for more than that!

I'm up at 4:53am, and looking to see if there's a new Song Fight title. Guess I should do a song for this one.

Suggestion: We set a deadline for entry. (Say, Halloween?) If you're a previous stiffer, and you want to be in, then make good on your gift before entering. Stiffers who make that deadline are okay by me. The ones that don't, well, they probably wouldn't make the next one either.
