Rest in peace, Pat DiNizio. Just heard that the Smithereens frontman died yesterday. You were a huge rock hero to teenage me.

Just 'cause I didn't see it on here already, back in September Holger Czukay of CAN kicked the bucket. That guy was a very special kind of musician. Of course the CAN stuff is amazing, but his solo album "Movies" is mindblowing, too.
