Help Sockpuppet crowdfund an album on vinyl

Links and other hanky panky that doesn't have to do with anything in particular.

Help Sockpuppet crowdfund an album on vinyl

Post by fluffy »

Last November I did a pretty good album for Novembeat, which also resulted in a pretty okay hour-long music video:

The next phase of this is to try to get it pressed to vinyl, using Qrates, a crowdfunding platform that is made specifically for vinyl pressings. Please check out the project here and maybe consider buying a copy or two.

It's using the same rules as Kickstarter; if the funding goal isn't met then the album doesn't get pressed and everyone gets refunded.

Anyway, I hope you'll check it out. Thanks!

FWIW, the price on it has come down substantially, thanks to getting better manufacturing pricing from the team at Qrates. If you weren't a fan of spending nearly $50 for an album (and I totally don't blame you!), maybe consider it at $30 now.
