INTERNET RADIO

Post by c.layne »

i figured this'd be just as good a place as any for a thread like this. but right now i have this overwhelming thirst for bossa nova that i can't quench. i've been searching for a free internet radio site that has some streaming bossa nova, but to no avail. anyhow, i just thought we could have a thread to post and good stations we come across. here's one i've listened to for a good while.

Most shitty casio/yamaha keyboards have a bossanova rythym setting. You should look into that.

Sorry, I would have posted sooner but I forgot about this thread. (Is anyone else having trouble with the sub categories? I know, I'm just dumb)

If you are into country:

Suzy Bogguss - Letting Go (Country Music USA - Yesterday's Legends & Today's Hits)

The two links in the post above are what I listen to most. However, I listen to these when I feel like something different.

KEXP is a conventional Seattle radio station that is highly recommended to songfight folks. They stream their shows and they are also searchable. There are lots of world music programs so you might be able to find what you're looking for there.

Just a general post about this agreement, which may start allowing radio statons to stream their on-air program.
