Yeah, my birthday was the 22nd. People didn't acknowledge it till I sorta prodded them into remembering, which wasn't till the next day. Nice logic, Voice. If you remembered, how come you didn't say anything? :P

(Just kidding, I love all y'all). :)

Who died on your birthday? Not just the date on which you were born, but the specific day/month/year (or m/d/y) that is listed on your birth certificate.

Betty Grable was leaving on the day that I was arriving.

Lon Chaney, Jr. died a decade before the day I was born.

Richard Simmons and Julius Caesar both share their birthday with me. So do Bill Cosby and Buckminster Fuller.

my great-uncle.

it was spooky going through the cemetery where a bunch of my grandma's relatives are buried, and seeing my birthdate on his tombstone.

Jeffrey Dahmer died on the same day but a different year.

albert einstein died on the same day but 30 years earlier...
and benny hill died on the same day in 92...

other then that... my day of birth was pretty death free as far as celebrities go

Happy birfday to me!!!

I closed the deal on my new car today. It will be my first car purchase since 1990. After 15 years I'm finally giving up the Geo Storm, all 180,000 miles of it, for a shiny red Hyundai Elantra. I got it for $9,000 brand new from a salvage lot. It has leather. And a CD player, and A/C, and automatic transmission, none of which things my current car has. Yahoooooo!!!! OK, so it's not the most exciting car, but hey, it's red.

I also bought Brian Wilson's Smile for myself.

How could you!?! Hope it finds a good home. I'm not ready to part with my '93 Storm yet... it's only up to 154k. (Working A/C does sound pretty nice, though.)

Happy BDay. :D

Happy B-Day, Jimbo!

...do people call you Jimbo? Every now and then someone calls me Jimbo and it takes me a minute to realize they're talking to me.

Have fun with the new wheels!

Hey, a fellow Storm owner! Well, truth is, there's nothing at all wrong with the Storm. Runs like new still, never caused me a lick o' trouble. What a great car. But it's too small for us. Madi is now tall enough to bump her head on the back window. Still, I'm sort of sad to say good bye to Stormy. It'll have a hallowed spot of honor in my garage for now.

Yeah, I get called that pretty often. I always know they're talking to me. My older brother's name is Bob, and my parents always used to accidentally start calling me by his name, so they'd always say things like "Hey, come here, Bo...Jim" (pronounced baw-JIM) so I got used to being called Bo-Jim.
