Not jumping to conclusions. I'm just sayin', unless you have a medical issue that prevents you from drinking delicious gluten-ful beer, drink the gluten with aplomb! But if you physically can't ingest gluten, you have my sympathies. Also you could try wine instead, since that's gluten-free. (Also many hard liquors are but you have to be careful since a lot of them are made from wheat-derived vodka.)

Yeah, it's not just a whim. I'm not Celiac though, so I can get away with some light cheating here and there without too much trouble. Been doing it for about six years now. I've tried to get into wine, but I'm not so crazy about it and can't really afford what's considered "the good stuff". I like whiskey a lot, but it's also an expensive habit and can get me in trouble pretty quick ;-) With beer, you can have the best there is available for under $10 a pint. My favorite beer ever can be had for pretty darn cheap in Seattle (Manny's!) Oh and Black Butte Porter!

Maybe we need "The Gluten Free Blues" as a title. Haha.

How about mead? A lot of meads are gluten-free.

Haha, sorry for the OT. We're talking about drinking though, does that count for something...? And while I'm not drunk, I am drinking a gluten free beer.

Yup, I've had some mead. Beer is my favorite though. Beer is slightly ahead of coffee for all time favorite drink And beer also has the advantage that I prefer a little buzz to a little buzzing... Caffeine makes me a little nutty (and I work in a coffee shop)...

Haha. The curvature of the earth. That's awesome. Yeah, edibles are always slow, so it's best to have a small amount to see the reaction. At least professional made edibles have the THC level listed, so you can gauge what dosage works best for you.

Hill going to teach you guys how to cook. Go to Wal-Mart, frozen section. Scrap up enough money for a box of frozen mussels in garlic & butter and a box of cheap wine. I prefer Oakleaf. Don't forget a dollar loaf of French bread. Then eat it over your keyboard in the bedroom.

Was the "cooking" part in there somewhere? I think I missed it. Do you eat the mussels frozen?

So in case it wasn't obvious, yesterday I finally checked out Uncle Ike's, and bought some indica and a dry-herb vaporizer. I had no idea how much to put in. Now I know how much is way the hell too much, at least. (Spoiler: filling the chamber is too much.)

One of these days I'll manage to get a reasonable amount of THC.

At least you went with an indica. An easy way I was told to remember which is which. Indica (in da couch). :P
For me, an indica is best. Sativa gets me paranoid and oddly speedy. I'm not a speedy guy, even though it turns me into lawnmower man. Too much caffeine gets me shaky and ill feeling. Two cups of coffee in the morning is perfect. Three cups I feel like crap. Although if I have had indica earlier and later have a sativa, (in the same day) it's not bad and kind of makes me active, both physically and mentally.

Had I known you were in the market for a vaporizer, I would have linked you to Dan Redbands site. He is sponsored by a vape company and is giving away units as prizes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcv52Yy4uIc
I don't watch his channel too much, but he's a friend of Paul Tokin (Tokin Daily). So I stop by when I'm bored.
