That stuff is all from The Money or the Gun, an Australian talk show Andrew Denton did in the early 90's. I've got a video of all 22 or so versions of Stairway lying around the house somewhere. My favourites were the version done by The Australian Opera and the poetry-reading one by Leonard Teale (and of course, the great Rolf Harris - check my Big Success entry this week for some awesome Rolf sampling)Sven wrote:http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2006/05/s ... to_he.html
[edit] The Toys Went Berserk version is freaking awesome

It was a proud moment....
Before bed, my son M the Heatmiser said "You can eat snitzel, you can eat sweets, but always remember to BRUSH YOUR TEETH".

This made me laugh muchly.
It is an interview that went live to air on one of Australia's top rating morning news shows - with a blonde studio hornbag talking to the head of the Australian military detachment to East Timor:

Awesome that the SMH is able to compile these clips. I love the "Naomi's Tantrum" one where she brings use of the f-bomb during an off-air moment to new unheard of heights for a "lady"Caravan Ray wrote:This made me laugh muchly.
