Actually, I thought of escaping them after I wrote that post. I had initially assumed that it wouldn't work, but I hadn't actually tried it. I had already changed the code and uploaded it, then I came back here to see which card was having the problem, and saw your post. YUP, you're right. It worked. And a better solution that the two-quote thing, in case I either change the font at some point, or want to use this code for another project.

Full Deck now available: Click here for more.

The price is higher than I had hoped, but you're getting approx five and half times as many cards as buying them individually (which would be 27.50 if you could buy half a deck), saving on shipping (probably) and there are no duplicates. I will try to keep the price stable as the number climbs to as many as 108. After that, I will have to go to two boxes, and the price may have to increase.

SPUD

Oh, and I should probably add some provisions to the rules for playing with a single deck instead of individual personal decks.

As I understand it, it will basically never be too late to get in, and never too late to change your card.

For reference, I googled how many "Magic: The Gathering" cards there are, and it's over 11,000. At this moment, Spud mentioned we have 93 cards for SF:TR.

yes, but they won't allow you to use anything but the most recent couple of years in tournaments. brilliant, really. this way they can get people to keep spending money!
and then it doesn't matter if they make another card with the same powers... heh. planned obsolescence.

Calfborg card added.
Cody Walker Jr. card added.
Enter It In The Art Show card added.
EggNogAdam card added.
sonofsupercar card added.
Christopher Cogott card added.
Clifton Lee Johnston card added.
x-tokyo-river-god card added.
Sell Crazy card added.
Nobody, et. al card added.
Lonbobby card added.

This completes the full deck, and the price holds at 19.99. This deck is essentially fixed at 107 cards plus the index cards, makes 108, which is how many fit in the largest tuck box. I might try splitting it into two decks of 54, because I am concerned about the structural integrity of a 108 card box!

Further additions will appear only in the random packs until there enough (17 more) to fill an expansion pack, and so on. Updates and/or corrections to existing cards will be reflected in the complete deck as well as in the random packs.

You can see them all at http://www.songfight.org/rockening

OK, so I changed my mind, kind of. Right after I had put the finishing touches on the 107-card plus index deck, I got the 108th card from Niveous (c.layne). It made me think. I broke the now 108 cards into two 54 card decks, moved the list of bands to the outside of the package, and posted two new products, Deck One and Deck Two. These include cards 1-54 and cards 55-108, respectively. No index card to waste space in the package.

So the current product line-up looks like this:

Random 18 card package with 17 trading cards and an index. I am thinking of losing the index, so you get one more actual card. What do you think?
Deck One - cards 1 - 54
Deck Two - cards 55 - 108
Double Deck - cards 1 - 108 in a single box

As new cards come in, they will be added to the random deck. When there are 18 new cards, I will create an expansion pack of cards 109-126, and so on.

If the company every changes its policy toward duplicates in random decks, I will offer larger random decks, i.e. 36, 54, etc.

1) I didn't make the c.layne card but I did tell him he should make a card.
2) Lose the index card. No wasted space.
3) I like the new set up.
