Radio Karaoke

Set up live gigs with each other, announce gigs you're playing around the country or whatever, talk about how the show went, post links to recordings, etc.

Radio Karaoke

Post by anti-m »

Not so much a concert or an event... but more an opportunity for a bunch of us Stumptown wackos to publicly humiliate ourselves:

Tonight! (Wednesday the 17th o' May)
At 7:00 pacific time!

The deal is, (as I understand it) that for a membership pledge to college radio, you can request that we attempt to perform a song of your choosing from the karaoke catalog.

I suspect it will be terrible beyond words, but it will most certainly be good for a laugh at our expense.

You can tune in over the internets from the KPSU main homepage.

About how I expected -- rather painful to listen to!

Although, I must say, it was a great deal of fun to do. We had a blast!

Somewhere out there is a very incriminating video of me attempting to sing "Oh L'Amour," which, it turns out, is catastrophically out of my range. Good times, all around!
