Octothorpe looking for Friends

Post by Spud »

A while back we did a show called Octothorpe and Friends. We have located another venue at which we might be able to put together something similar. If you are interested, let us know. So far we have us, the Pathetic Wannabees and Sockpuppet. ABC, where are you?

I'm always interested in playing. When might this show be, and will Glenn Case be there?

There is not yet a time frame. I am just trying to gauge interest while we put our set together. Glenn will have to speak for himself. Time frame may be related to when people might be in Seattle...

I'm all about college visits to Seattle. (And thus hanging out with Octothorpe and Friends.) It'll depend when it is of course.

Hmmm. Half the Screwheads are interested, the other half doesn't know about this yet, I'm guessing. Will bounce the idea across his bonce and see what comes of it.

I'm interested, but timing is the issue. I'm pretty much unable until after hoidaymas... but I'd sure love to come down, hang out, play some tunes.

HEH!

Timing is everything of course, but Rachael and I would love to be there.

If you come from California, I will SEE TO IT that we are there, Ken.

Same goes for Sam and Erin.

ROCK!

O.K. So far so good. We pitch the show, pick a date, and see who shows, right? We will aim for sometime after the first of the year, then.

Make it after my spring financial aid comes in and I'll at least try and come. Spring Break would be good. second week of March. but that might be much too late for your interest. I also have Monday, Feb. 19 off for President's Day. I dunno!

Second week of March(and onward) also works for me, or any weekend before and including President's Day. But I'm hardly the most important person to scedule around. Name the date and I'll try and coerce some stars to align.

March 9 thru March 19, 2007 is bad for yours truly. No can do. Rest of the f-ing year, however, is open like a waiting hug from a creepy nun on your first day back to Catholic school.

Happy Turkey Day, all!

I'm definitely in for an Octothorpe and friends show. I should probably start writing music again. Look out 'Georgia's Hand'...

I'd show up

Post by MintyHandy »

That'd be worth some vacation time. I can't imagine you'd want to see one guy with a ukulele, but if you do, let me know. Hopefully I'll have a few new good songs by then; I'd hate to show up with nothing but Our Love Violates Corporate Policy (esp. since it's not a uke song...)

I was hoping to get out to Seattle this winter anyway, perhaps the stars will collide as they did last time. It was a lot of fun at the Jewelbox, next time we need JOS on stage!
