The setup we have right now is a pair of direct ins (1/4") and up to 6 XLR inputs, all with phantom.
We can route any of that to the PA, the stream or both. All can also be recorded independent of what goes to either of those.

Re: 05/14/10 - Zephyr Vegetarian Cafe - Long Beach
We're just packing up the gear now. We have plenty of inputs and outputs, phantom power, etc. We'll probably leave in about an hour (3pm-ish). We don't know how long it'll take to get from Eagle Rock to Long Beach, but I expect we'll get there a bit early. 916-842-1454 if anyone needs anything in particular.

If you mean Eagle Rock in Los Angeles, then yeah, count on two hours or so with traffic.

So, I've set up a ustream channel for this show, here: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/song-figh ... arian-cafe
It will probably start broadcasting a bit before the show starts, for sound check purposes.

Watching from Lebanon, TN! There's nothing to do in this town on a Friday night(or any night, to be honest), so ya'll better entertain me
(Currently the guitar tuning is more interesting than anything going on in this town, so you're off to a good start!)

Re: 05/14/10 - Zephyr Vegetarian Cafe - Long Beach
Sorry about the audio issues. uStream wasn't cooperating with my recording interface for some reason, and it was especially troublesome during my set when I couldn't very well screw with it. For MintyHandy's set I ended up just using the built-in mic on my Mac, which was probably crap but at least it's better than no sound. We do have complete recordings of the entire night with separate tracks for the board and the room, so hopefully Mike Lamb can get something together which will sound better than what uStream was providing to begin with.
Anyway, the show was a lot of fun. I'd like to thank Ross for putting it on and for the Zephyr for having us, and for the other performers doing such an awesome job as always. I'm also looking forward to the barbecue tomorrow, even if my stomach is already screaming in agony at the prospect.

Ack! The guitar channel suddenly disappeared from the recordings halfway through House In My Head. Did that happen in reality too?
In any case, I've put my set online at http://sockpuppet.us/media/live_from_zephyr.php

Safely back in good ol' blighty, even managed to avoid the ash cloud. Thanks for organising this, Ross, I had a great time and it was lovely to meet and hear everyone in person. Sorry I couldn't make it to the BBQ - the meeting I had to go to was, I am sure, nowhere near as much fun
