I did a search, and Songfight.com is up for sale. It also expires on August 23rd, so I haven't made any inquiries, hoping it just opens up and I (or someone here) can snipe it up.
Has anyone tried to do such a thing? Last time I tried was for Spintunes.com, and they didn't get back to me for a few months, and then kept pestering me to make an offer.
By then I bought the .net and said I was done with it, but they did renew the URL just to spite me.
Thoughts and suggestions for success on getting the .com for Songfight?

Several years ago I inquired, and the price was at $600.
IIRC I inquired at some other time and I think they were asking $3500 or something like that.
Neither price point is something I'm willing to pay. I'd pay a few hundred, but not 6.

Looks like you can search for it here and then get a field where you can put in a bid for it. I don't know if costs anything to bid, you have to log in to start the process and I didn't do that.
