I'm glad Woody and Scarlett had such a good time in London making Match Point, but she couldn't be more miscast in this. Like her or not, she she's not an airhead, and can't even begin to approach playing one. Actors in Woody Allen movies tend to do bad imitations of him, and she joins previous main offenders Kenneth Branagh and Jason Biggs. Hugh Jackman is unbelievably dashing, and I'm starting to think they should have made him a Bond, but it's all a wash. The movie completely dies every time Woody himself is offscreen, and can only manage a limp when he's on. He's still got chops as an actor, but his directorial and writing timing is waaaay off. C-
