The Incredible Hulk

Post by Billy's Little Trip »

Saw it the night before last. It was pretty good. I like how Stark came in for a quick cameo at the end. Even though I saw Iron Man after Hulk, I knew who he was.

I'm surprised there was no thread for this yet. Great movie - much better than the first Hulk.

I predict an Avengers movie sometime in the near future.

THAT's the one I was thinking. I was going to say this too, but I was thinking the Super Team, but they didn't have Hulk or iron man. Not that I'm an expert on comics, but I watched Saturday morning cartoons while eating a half box of coco puffs in one of my mom's mixing bowls with a huge serving spoon.

After the Iron Man credits they had a brief extra scene where Samuel L. Jackson did a cameo as Nick Fury, recruiting Tony Stark for the Avengers, so the cat is pretty much out of the bag about that, it seems like.

Nothing to do with the Hulk, but talking about superhero teams, I thought about this thread last night watching Family Guy. They did an Aquaman bit where he is out in the water while a lady is getting attacked on shore and there's nothing he can do but make idle threats, so he throws a starfish next to them.
edit: actually, here it is.

Hahaha! Oh, Aquaman. He's only awesome on Smallville.

I agree. I put off watching this one because I've never seen the Hulk done well. I thought this was really very good. Took me by surprise, actually. I rented it on Friday and only watched it last night so as not to waste my $5!

I was looking around for sequel info last night. There's an Avengers movie in the works for a 2011 release. The directors of Iron Man and Hulk both want it. The Hulk's director suggested that it would be a Hulk vs. Iron Man type thing (if he got it), which fits the end of his movie and some of the comic history of the Avengers, too. Interesting.
