So I liked this movie a lot. So much that I thought I should really make a poll this time with all that rating crap. But as you can see I was distracted. You are still required to answer, though. Or... Um... Or something... Oh, yeah. "Or Else."
ANYHOO.
If you haven't seen it for some reason, I say go and see it. Unless one of the three headliners really annoys you, 'cause they're in it a lot. I can see how each of them could be really annoying, I guess. Not like, say, Morgan Freeman. Everyone likes Morgan Freeman. Topher Grace did a very good job in my opinion. Scarlet" Johans"on did her usual decent job, although not spectacular. Dennis Quaid has a funny last name, he did a decent job as well. I think though that this movie is good more because of the story than the actors. Someone else talk now.

Er, I never even heard of this movie and just wanted to say something relating to Quaid, because I could. You said "someone else talk now." I'm pretty sure it's not a pun or an insult.

This film didn't really have anything to say, but it had pretensions of having something to say. In the end the hotshot rookie learns a lesson from the guy he took over for, age stereotypes were reinforced, Scarlett Johansson's character is vapid and indecisive and a girl, and the father has another kid (virile!) and he helps his other daughter out (a family man!) and he learns the kid a thing or two (all your education pales compared to experience, which all 40+-year-old men have, etc). Script, I think, was really weak, and so that prevented me from much enjoying it.
