Re: Godzilla
I just saw this, in 3D. Not perfect, but still very good. I enjoyed it much and was surprised at some of the emotions (!) that it brought out. I won't give anything away until (if) anyone else wants to talk about it. Worth the time, for sure, and no doubt better on the big screen than on the tele. B+/A-
EDIT: Excuse me. I saw it in IMAX 3D. That's different, right? I dunno.

Re: Godzilla
I thought is was a good take on the Godzilla myth. I fell asleep at some point near the end, but I think I understood what happened.

Re: Godzilla
Terrible? I dunno if it warrants that label. I enjoyed it. I mean, if I had written it, it would have been a lot darker and Godzilla would have pretty much wiped out all of mankind. But as it is, I thought it was fun. Summer movie. If someone had the balls and similar budget to do another re-boot, or whatever, and make it all heavy, that would be nuts. But good fun and any eye rolling moments were so brief as to be quickly dismissed. No Gojira, but good.
