Oh man, Logic murdered my mp3 conversion dead (I'd only checked the start and the end, which were, coincidentally, fine). @mikelamb, I'm uploading a new file for you!
No problem, I uploaded the fixed version.

Tim Hinkle!

Thank you sooooo much! I love that version of Dylan Thomas, your voice is amazing! Then when Spirit of Radio came in, I was beyond delighted. You certainly have me pegged. You know I grew up in Utah ( Murray ), and Rush was a huge part of my youth especially the Utah years.
Awesome!

Cave Dwellers - This really grabbed me from the start. I love what you've done with the chorus.

I still love that show. By my count of current times we’ve you, me, gizo, toshiro, magnetic letters/merle and now jocko. So quite a few of us in the village?

I'm so glad you liked it! That track definitely spoke to me, as you might be able to tell from the lyric adjust. :-) Was pretty rusty on the ol' guitar and vox, but it was good to blow some of the cobwebs out. Cheers!

Great work Fluffy! Courtney Barnett goes Lounge Act!

I'm pretty sure that it was Pepper Jane who put me on to Courtney Barnett initially - will have to send her a PM - she may enjoy that too

Ha! While 39 By Design wasn't quite the one I expected to get covered I dig what you did with it Caravan - somehow it changes the vibe when you make it all synthpoppy like that :) thanks!

I'm enjoying these a lot.
I totally have that song in my head as an earworm now. It is quite infectious.

Oh, that's funny, the whole time I was listening to her stuff and watching the video I couldn't help but notice an uncanny similarity to Pepper Jane. :) Glad you liked it! And weren't too put off by me translating it into American English ;)

I ended up buying all of Courtney Barnett's albums as a result of this. Some really good stuff in there.

This was the last song I expected anyone to cover out of my track list, but I'm so pleased you did! I love it, fantastic job. The epic synth riff at the end is perfection. Thank you Jocko!
I'm glad you like it! The song made quite an impression on me when I was listening to your playlist.

The whole album is basically a delightful series of kind of depressing but super catchy tunes filled with arpeggiated guitars and linndrum sounds. There for awhile my son was falling asleep to it every night! Of course he doesn't quite grasp what the songs are actually about -- and I'm in no hurry to teach him about Heaven's Gate, but I've caught him singing the chorus to himself while cleaning his room.

As a complete aside: your kid's entry as the "performing loin fruit" from yeaaaaaars ago resulted in me adopting the term "loin fruit" and getting a few of my friends to do the same.

Hey UJN! Great job on The Joke, you made it your own with a strong influence on the lyrics. I only heard this song earlier this year, and thought it was a knockout. Well, you knocked it out too, man. Great job, I am genuinely pleased. Thank you.

Vowl: There was no way I could pass up The Reaper. The other songs were all good, but besides having grown up with that song (it came out when I was ten, gulp) during my SongFight! tenure, I've been compared to BOC many times. The lead was an approximation, but a blast to play. Glad you enjoyed.

Mike: Thanks for putting this together, it was good timing and you're labors are appreciated. Thank you.

All: I'll listen as I can, as work is nuts. Literally. I work in a locked state psychiatric hospital. We've started to rotate through the Covid positive unit, and are working longer hours, so time is even more precious. Glad to see everyone come together like this. Stay safe, and I'll pop in when I can. Peace.

It looks like I'm one of the Stiffers. I thought we'd have the time to get one out, but I know Al's still too tied up to do any work, and I haven't been allowed home in 7 weeks to even boot my system up.

If someone is available to do Cybronica's Gift, it would be appreciated. I still plan on doing one in the long term, but physically it's not gonna happen short term. Sorry about that.

I had secretly hoped that I'd get Cybronica's list... which might be a spoiler to which song I'll be covering...
