Every once in a while, the night shift on the 3rd floor of the factory in the non conforming material corner of the Small and Large drive unit production at Tesla Motors will have a Paco deal Stinko marathon. It is a rich and extraordinarily entertaining catalog! I'm a big fan.

FYI you can shuffle play an artist's songs on their page on the Jukebox, which can be helpful when somebody has >200 entries. :)

Gee, what a specific description of time and place!

You know, I meant to sign up for this. If there are other stragglers or whatev and I can be included, let me know.

Just in case---

You can check out my own limited SF archive here: http://sfjukebox.org/artists/Geech%20Sorensen

I am getting some of my old band's archives online these days. Here's something: https://capitalcity.bandcamp.com and another thing on Spotify at https://open.spotify.com/album/45Sw5OaIUWkfwX7DcdWq0k. Other stuff may be lost to the ages.

I've been playing with BSS in SF-land here for the last year or so, but I don't think I would or could represent for the collective Scene on my own.

There are no stragglers as of yet. If you want to submit a cover, I can randomize you one of the existing participants, or you can just cover whatever you like. I can't guarantee that anyone will reciprocate, but someone might volunteer. :-)

Thats the thing Geech. Karma comes around and goes around.

Meanwhile...aww shit. The artist I drew seems to know more than the regular 3 chords that I normally work with. Show off.

Yeah I'm going through mine and what, these song structures are complicated and these don't work with my voice at all! Oh well, this is going to be fun.

I accidentally chose the first song I listened to.

I tried to give some others a chance, but I keep coming back to that first one because it killed me dead. What a song.

I think I'm going to pick a song by [ARTIST] that I particularly liked from a recent fight, but I reserve the right to change my mind if / when I can't figure out how to play it.

I listened to many songs by my artist last night, I think I have my choice picked out, but a few others in mind if I can't make this one work.

Well, karma indeed :) I'm really excited with who I got, I've got the music worked out, so I'll either be done in ten minutes or ten years, depending on my rubbishness.

I will explain the "karma" comment when the songs are made public.

I got exactly who I expected to get but not for the right reasons. This should be fun!

I think I found my song. Now all I have to do is figure out how to play it.

The more I analyze the song I'm covering, the more impressed I become. This is a really good song. The bad news that, consequently, I feel less and less able to do it justice.

Shew, my ideas for my entry this week are overlapping hard with my ideas for my cover. Trying to keep them all straightened out in my head! I've definitely got my track picked out though.

I finally know which song I'm gonna do and the recipient is either gonna love it or hate it. Or maybe a bit of both!

I just sat down to record vocals and then realized, after a few takes, that I had the music wrong. Aaaagh.

In with a could-be-better mix of a stupid, terrible idea.

Maybe I'll make up for it by also covering my second-choice song.

I'm in. And let me say, to You-Who-Will-Be-Named-Later, the more I listened to your song, the more impressed I became. Your version has both elegant simplicity and depth, neither of which I felt quite able to replicate. Thank you for a pleasant experience, I hope you enjoy it.
