A3W

Post by Niveous »

It's President's Day Weekend and I have an idea. It's called A3W or Album-in-a-three day weekend. There's nothing better after a long weekend than having a new album to enjoy. Actually, there is one thing better- having several new albums to enjoy.

Premise: To make a new album during the three day weekend.

Rules: The rules are quite open. You have to make an album of at least 10 songs.

- Does it have to be new material? No. Reworked or previously unreleased material is fine.

- Can it include covers? Yes.

- Can it be a greatest hits album? Sure, why not. As long as you're rerecording the songs.

The idea is to create an album. Give the album a name, 10 songs (at least) and some kind of cover art. That's it. It could be an AAD. It could be the completion of your FAWM. As long as you do it and release it on Tuesday.

How about it? Any takers. (Even if there isn't any takers, I'm looking to make a new album this weekend.)

Awesome. I haven't even listened to this yet but it has to be awesome.

My A3W went down in flames thanks to 2 children with 100+ fevers. But all that means is that I'll work on a new album next week and it'll actually include my acoustic bass. Joy!
