Are we posting our old Velvet covers, then?

Here's a crappy practice version of "I'll be your mirror" performed by EggCartonZoo recorded in the living room. We used to record all our practices...

Enjoy!!!

Well, it still doesn't look like anybody's doing "White Light/White Heat" so I claim it.

I don't believe in 'claiming' songs, but if you feel you have to avoid covering the same song as someone else, you might want to know that I intend to do Venus In Furs. Because, y'know, someone's gotta.

I haven't seen it taken but if I missed it please correct me and I will pick a different tune.

If I get the all clear, I will be doing Femme Fatal.

Not to sound like the noob that I am but this is my first side fight. Do we submit them the same as a regular fight?

Sidefights are generally self-hosted. You post the file on your own internet space, and email a link to the person organizing the fight.

If you don't have space to host your file, PM me and I'll host it for ya.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, I am doing 'New York Telephone Conversation'. It'll be up by Friday as I am off on holiday until beyond the deadline this weekend. So feel free to scoff, think 'I could do better' and then do so. My Anxiety of Influence (c. Harold Bloom) was too great to tackle anything off the mighty Berlin.

And, kinda on topic, has anyone heard this new orchestral cover of the whole of Metal Machine Music yet? I saw it reviewed and am curious (although memories of the one time I listened to the original still make me wince)

Here's my Version of Candy Says

Cynthia Size and the @eclectic spOOns - Candy Says

I'm still hopeful of obtaining a more Organic Version, though if it falls through then.... oh well!

(Link updated to a downloadable version.... now I've figured out how!!!)

Well, this just isn't going at all to plan and I'm gonna have to admit defeat. So I'm out.

But someone really should cover it.

I'll sing it if anyone wants to do the music. PM me. We could do it hard rock style, or VU style, or something else entirely. I'm game.

Zig Zags

Post by The Sleestak »

Well, I zigged when I should of zagged and recorded What Goes On...the vibe in the lobby of the liquor store just seemed to call for it.

Tonight I take a crack at Femme Fatale (really an homage to Dramarama's version)

http://www.mooreliqour.com/funstuff - Femme Fatale should be at the bottom of this page sometime this evening.
