Just signed up as bzl.

I fully expect to cheat:
FAWM FAQ wrote:How long should my songs they be?
As a guideline, shoot for about 3 minutes each.
My six minute songs are gonna count as two each. And if I hit nine, which I expect to once or twice, those are triple songs!

FAWM WARNING... I'm not going to be using Cynthia, and yes my songs will contain vocals... (oh! shit!)

Ooh, rockin. That reminds me, I need to replace my HInc Open Loops. Would that help?

Not sure if I can pull this off. I'm pretty busy with my new semester, so it might not happen. I've got some ideas though.

ps. how do you sign up?

Wow, for some reason I just can't get going on this thing. Part of it might be that I was sick at the beginning of the month and singing wasn't really an option. But I'm better now, and still all I seem to record are tedious noodley guitar wongles.

Time to brute force the muse.

Getting off to a SLOW start myself. Lyrics done for one song, and I have music mapped out for 4-6 songs, but I am not sure how many of them I actually like.

ROCK!

Well, I'm signed up as Jay Raj. Maybe that'll give me some inspiration. I'm a bit drained after my AAD.

I am doing this btw, if anyone is interested, in hoosenbergler mode. i am about to add my 3rd and 4th song (which gets me back on track after a false start).

i will be watch-listing everyone who has mentioned their profile names here, and will try and comment on at least one song for everyone.

Making somewhat more progress than one might expect! Working in parallel on songs means you don't get any of them finished early. Anyways, here's a halfway preview of some of the associated cover art:

That'll be the web-site detail image. It's rockin' like they never knew in the seventies!

I'm not very far at all. I'll probably be AAW'ing it at this rate, but I still intend to actually finish it, regardless of quality. :) I'm also scheduling a vacation day or two to accommodate. Kudos to those making progress!

I'm deciding tomorrow if I should give the hell up or not. I'm totally disinterested in FAWM and I have a lot of other things I should be doing, so...

I have nine in for FAWM but am in the heart of the step on the gas time to make all the others, which I am confident I will. I'm enjoying it very much and haven't had much time to listen to more than a handful of stuff, but will catch up afterwards. If you're disinterested Puce, maybe just stash away what you have into the old ideas bag and move on. You probably have more to lose than I do. My whiskers are getting long but not very full. JR had nothing to fear from me!

I'm in for six songs under my pseudonym. I've got a good feeling aobut hitting 14, especially because the project I'm doing for FAWM doesn't really require lyrics.

I've been taking a break every few days to shave, but I am a graphic designer, so I still have the goatee, of course.

Ok, Jim, 28 new loops are up at Tapegerm.com in my Open Loops folder. Hope you like them, and thanks for getting me off my butt to record these :)

Hooray hooray! I'm going after them ASAP.

I'd really have liked to be 7 songs deep on the 14th, but I probably won't make it, as I have a show tonight.

Thanks for putting 'em up there!

That's only a song a day for the rest of the month. No problem!!

(Great tunes, BTW .. You know, you'd finish quicker if you didn't spend so much time producing them  )

Posted 3 songs on my profile yesterday.

I also have 7 instrumentals thrown together, but I'm not sure how many of them I actually like at the moment. I'm hoping to knock out lyrics and vocals for 3 more songs tonight.

As far as the RPM goes, Chuck the Bear has one song complete, and 3 instrumentals started.

It will be interesting to see if I'm able to complete both of these on time!

ROCK!
