The round 2 songs are up. Unfortunately nobody here entered a shadow round, but I thought someone might like to hear more free music & see how the round went.

Round 3 Challenge has been posted.
Write a song that involves a recipe for something.

This recipe can be for anything - not just food. Your song must run no shorter than 1 minute 30 seconds..

Your song must be submitted in mp3 form (128-192kbps) either via e-mail (to songfu @ asitecalledfred.com - remember to remove the spaces) or a file upload service (like RapidShare or YouSendIt). Deadline for submission is 11:59pm EST on Sunday, March 7th, 2010.

There will be a Round 3 Listening Party at 8:30pm EST on Monday, March 8th HERE. Voting on Round 3 submissions will commence immediately after the listening party.

New Mexico Tech has no music department. One of the reasons I went to State instead.

but will sammy really post shadow titles? i don't think that point has been addressed?

i am also unclear why you are sammy's mouthpiece for his reviews and his songwriting contests? is sammy too good to post his shit here himself? is anyone at songfight the least bit interested in song-fu or sammy's reviews?

Sammy isn't a member here, I am, so I posted the reviews....since there is a review thread. If you don't like them, and I completely understand if you don't, don't read them. Sammy isn't a member here, but anyone who wants to contact him could at the ning community "Too Much Awesome" or by posting a comment on the blog.

Shouldn't hate on Song Fu, just cause of Sammy though. I mean it's not much different then "Nur Ein". People are about the same as the people here, the big difference really is the fact that Song Fu is run by a twit. I often wish it was run as well as Song Fight.

And that can be a pretty big difference.
