Not bad!. Thank you. They may help.

I also like your trick of doing the "Hard Rain" lyrics.

I was thinking of setting the iPod to random and using the first line of the next song that plays

My first* attempt gets me:
Fear and terror, watch out boy

(from Hand of Law by Radio Birdman)

...actually - that was 2nd attempt. First attempt got me "Bananas in Pyjamas are coming down the stairs" - but I'll pass on that one.

This is almost a done deal. Will polish up over the next few days

Though I may change it to
King Solomon's Mind. Or King Solomon Minds.

This old Jewish dude helped me with the lyrics. King Solomon. I think he has been dead for more than 50 years - so I can just nick them! No questions asked!

It may look like I've been stuck at 2 songs all week, but I've actually got 4 more written and ready for recording. Things at the Kloberhouse have been a little too busy this week. I'm continuing my theme of writing Songfight titles that I missed the first time around, and the four in the can are:

Up All Night - Googling my high school friends into the late hours
Susan - Too easy, my ex-fiancee was named Susan
Paper Thin - Comparing his heart to the walls and poor morals
Alright Alright - A stupid rocker ala Grandpaboy/Westerberg

Hopefully they'll be up by weekend's end.

We're doing pretty well in the BSS/Zinkline camp:

We've "finished" two songs
Demoed two more (melody and music)
Recorded music for two more (music only)
We have 9 sets of lyrics written

Ken
Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff - Berkeley Social Scene - Tiny Robots - Seamus Collective - Semolina Pilchards - Cutie Pies - Explino! - Bravo Bros. - 2 from 14 - and more!

i would just like to remind everyone that Ken eats kittens - blue lang

This year I'm not FAWMing. Instead I'm seeing how much of my next album (which is mostly Song Fight songs) I can get finished since I want to have the whole thing done before Song Fight LIve in June. So far I have 7 songs recorded, and another 5-7 to go.

I guess you could say I'm FARMing instead.

I totally could have too. I just didn't devote any time to it. But at least I'll be eating homemade stroganoff and apple pie tonight (not together, but linearly). :P

Oh, and Hoglen and I have two songs we're working on, so technically, I've got 7. ;)

EDIT: So, in case you can't tell, I'm on Schalfly Coffee Stout #3 on an empty stomach, so rock!

Ended up having to make two pies (pre-peeled too many apples). Too bad none of you can be here to help eat #2. I would totally give you a slice with ice cream on it.

A guy I play poker with is fond of saying "If I had different cards, I would have beat you." *shrug*

Hey Phil, I did one song in particular that I think would appeal to you, being in what I sort of think of as "Wages' style." Let me know if you like it. http://fawm.org/songs/13854/

I may be half-baked, but I am half-done. Continuing my theme of writing old songfight titles. I've never written and recorded seven songs in twelve days before, and I have a headache. You may too if you follow this link:
