Change of plans here too. A couple of things are expected from Mojoville. An unfaithful rendering of Treat Me Nice is probable. And some buds are coming over tonight to record Viva Las Vegas. We'll see how that turns out. Only my second time recording live drums. Which was my goal when I geared up four years ago. Good gawd but a lot has come down the pike since then. I'm really looking forward to hearing peoples' tunes, especially takes on Presley.

His explanation was that he was trying to piss off some dicks he was surrounded by. Sounded like a reasonable excuse to me. And Ray Charles seemed cool with it. Give Mr McManus a break.
Wellllll... Okay. But only because you vouch for him. :|

Well, you and Nick Lowe.

And while the rest of you are sitting in your adult diapers scoffing deep-fried banana sandwiches and looking all edgy and alternative in your oversized Buddy Holly glasses - the Ray Man has entered TWICE!!!

Caravan Ray has now left the building. And gone to Chelsea.

Indeed, Caravan Ray has doubled (or split) his chances. Paco also just showed up for the party.

Keep them coming!

Hmmm... I thought this was due during the week, not Sunday night... and we've made good progress, but unfortunately I am traveling right now and won't be back to my computer until at least Monday night. Can I hand it in slightly late?

I started learning my song (The Beat) on friday. All of the major work on this cover was done in an hour. This includes learning it. I hope you all are happy. I am.

I didn't even start recording until about an hour and a half ago. I suck. Still, I hope to be in before I retire for the night.

I abandoned my previous mutant moshup idea and am instead doing a quick and dirty version of "Blue Suede Shoes."

Thanks to everyone that sent something in!

Website will be updated later today with the tracks.

If you've got something half done and want to finish it in the next few weeks, if you post a link here I'll add it to the website after the poll runs it's course (1 month).

I may have time to futz with my entry a little more tomorrow... I wanted to get it in before, and have been very busy. If I remix it, I will post the new version here.
