I'm kind of in the same boat. I just submitted, but I still think it needs some more futzing. I may also rework it and post an updated one.

I got frustrated with my mastering and went to bed after finishing a Fairly Good Mix last night a couple hours after deadline. Sorry, ya'll. Anyway - so it's close-to-done-ish. I called for reinforcements because of The Lateness and I've been sick and there was crime and illness and floods and pestilence and locusts and internet viruses and brigands and A Conspiracy and The Dog ate My HomeworkKABlahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah......

My plan is to do reviews, at least. Certainly to get a link in tomorrow or the next day depending on when Señor Secret Weapon is ka-finished with throwing in on it; as it is late already so may as well make it Nice.

They all sound damn good. I had to put my votes on Caravan Ray's "peace love and understanding" and one on Albatross's "blue suede shoes" Fuckin' nailed it you two!
Too bad DJ got in late, or I'd put a vote for her too. Dee, you should fire your engineer for making you late and screwing you out of my vote.

Re: DJ Ranger Den. Oh just let 'em in. It's friggin brilliant. What's a stinkin' little deadline when we're talkin' art.

I don't disagree, but then again what's a stinkin' little vote when we're talkin' art?

It should stay where it is. Perhaps Curious Onlookers will wonder who this mysterious late songfighter is, and if it was worth the extra time it takes to craft my fat DJ Beats, yo.

I'm wearing blue shoes too. This is so freaky!

I had to go back and Give Paco a vote. He sounds so damn creepy, it's awesome. His song would be a great musical breakaway scene, as he sings it looking in the mirror putting on WAY too much lipstick, when he plays the lead role in Diary of a Madman.

Haven't voted yet. But Paco, your Lonesome is brilliant and beautiful. You played it perfectly straight. Or maybe not. I can't tell and I love that. And Albatross, I could listen to your Shoes all day which, by my calculations and allowing time for a couple of breaths in between, comes to over 940 listenings.
