Back in high school, I did something like 80 songs in six months, most of them Songfight-related (along with two AADs and my Marathon Songs project). Lately, it just doesn't come as easily for me. I saw an interesting-looking book in the bookstore the other day called
The Frustrated Songwriter's Handbook, and the copy on the back, as well as the first chapter, summed up my frustrations pretty well, so I bought it. I'm sure it's capable of helping many people, but I doubt anyone on Songfight would benefit greatly from this book, so I'll save you the money by summarizing it in its entirety with the following sentences:
Do an Album-A-Day. Do them frequently.

"Warren Zevon would be proud." -Reve Mosquito
