America The Book

Post by Sober »

I'm pretty far into it, and it's fucking great. It's layed out in textbook form, complete with study guides, class discussions, end-of-chapter quizzes, etc. It's funny as hell, as well as smart. Just like my boy Jon Stewart.

I don't know... After reading his review of The da Vinci Code, I'm not sure Sober saying "It's fucking great" is going to help anything's sale.

I'll probably wind up borrowing it from a classmate.

I heard the audiobook version recently, which is also awesome. They took the textbook format and went the next step, making it like the audio track to one of those late-70s/early-80s "interactive learning module" tapes which were intended to accompany film strips or whatever.
