Soundbreaking

JB tipped me off to this cool documentary series about the making of pop music records since the 50s in the US and UK (mostly, I think). It's pretty fascinating if you're interested in the evolution of studio recording and producing, the musicians and engineers and producers, and the music. It might even inspire you to do some crazy new stuff in your home studio! You can watch it online for free, at least in the US.

I watched the first episode of this last night, and really enjoyed it. I'll be watching the whole series. Thanks for posting!
