(I hope this is in the right section, otherwise I'm sorry.)
Hey guys. Don't really know what more to write. Technically, the title already says everything. I'm a boy. I've felt it from a young age, but I didn't know what to do with that feeling. I had been taught that gender is defined by... you guessed it. What's down there. But even back in primary school, I insisted on being a boy. People didn't understand. My parents tried to convince me how great it was to grow up to be a woman. Whenever anybody asked me if I was a girl or a boy (yes, strangers do that) I felt terrible. I couldn't lie, but it felt wrong.
Later on, in grammar school, I desperately tried to be like the other girls, move like them, talk like them, have female role models. It didn't work. That feeling came back again and again. I was close to coming out a few times, but didn't realize that I actually could. Sometimes I started to feel quite comfortable being a girl. Or had I just given up? I thought I had to leave it behind, I was never going to be a man. I put on make-up, wore dresses and forgot about it. Until I somehow couldn't do it anymore.
One day, a good friend asked me "You sure you aren't a man?" - "No. Not sure at all." I had been shopping in the men's section for years, I had been covering my long hair for a while and I started doing my research.
About a year ago, I finally came out to my family and friends. Reactions were mixed, but mostly positive. Although I'm not always entirely sure what I am even doing there, I don't regret it. And I'm unbelievably happy to get this off my chest.
tl,dr: the title says everything you need to know. I would like to be addressed as "he".

No judgement here. Just be good at the song making thing.

From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.

I feel that it takes a lot of courage and strength to be true to yourself and your story especially so.

Oh hey, congratulations on feeling comfortable enough with yourself and with this community to come out. It can be such a great feeling, even if you don't know what you're going to do with it yet.
Also it's nice to see another openly trans person here. :)
