Hi.
This is probably the very dumbest time of year for me to get involved in something like this, but here I am.
I've read your forums, I've listened to your tunes, and I think I know what I'm in for. and I'm in for it.
So I just bought a house and have a glorified closet with a few handfuls of guitars, a bucket full of shakers, and a couple drum machines. In the basement are 3 open-bellied amps regurgitating alligator clips and a pile of next victims. There's a soldering iron too (needs a new tip).
I just found out about y'all, but can't remember how. I'll try to figure that out. EDIT: the hometracked blog, nice.
Anyway, thanks.
OH WAIT-
I've read fairly extensively the FAQs, and don't understand when the next title shows up?
thanks again.

Welcome. It's kind of a mystery as to when the new title shows up. That's why I've started LimboFight. However, there isn't one this week. Fightmaster is a tough job, and it's even tougher when you're deliberately trying to weave in and out of and work around a mystery schedule. A lot of us get bored and have side fights, but nothing ever lines up properly. I'll usually have about four songs to be working on, when there are other things going on in my life, or none, if I have a bunch of free time. But that's life. I'd say the new stuff ought to be up within a day or two.

Yeah, and don't whine when people give you bad reviews. That's the point. Buck up or Buck off. Oh, and welcome to SongFight, where the deer and the antelope stay away. (see what i did there?)erik wrote:Welcome to Songfight! Please be awesome!

mis-understood? maybe, but that's par,
of course.
See what I did there?
Yeah, I like the whole review thing I'm seeing. Having a shit song obviously doesn't disqualify a body from giving quality, constructive reviews.Wages wrote:and don't whine when people give you bad reviews

Though awesomeness will be felt like hot socks, you unfortunate souls are my route out of multi-year self-censorship.

Brilliant minds think alike, right?
Anyhoo, welcome to Songfight! SF saved me from a several-year-long no-music making dry spell. (Testify!) So I think you've come to the right corner of teh internets.

This corner of teh internets wasn't so easy to find. I've been looking for a songwriting-related forum for quite some time. I think the other message boards are unsuccessful because everyone's starting from a different place, this seems to work because you're all working on (sort of) the same thing, at the same time.anti-m wrote: Anyhoo, welcome to Songfight!
