After submitting my 6th Song Fight I finally found this thread. Maybe I should've scrolled down earlier...
Hi, I'm Andrew Heine from Germany.
I know that some of you have already noticed my teutonic accent. When I was searching the internet for a song competition to participate, I discovered SF! I liked the concept and gave it a try. And there is so much interesting music and a whole bunch of nice and gentle people. The best thing about it is getting a feedback: It's inspiring and helps to reflect one's output.
Some of the music I like: Beatles, Clapton, Heep, Purple, Moody Blues, Floyd, Genesis, but also Beethoven, Bach and gospel! Worth mentioning: old "Kraut" music like Kraftwerk. There are some decent bands coming from my home town: Eloy, Jane, Scorpions, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Mousse T.
I'm looking forward to hearing more of your delightful music.
See you! / Hear you!
Oooops, I'm late again...

Willkommen, Heine. I like Germany. My wife and I were there in 2005 just after our wedding (and in Italy). Some friends of ours were just there over Christmas and they're going to make us nostalgic this weekend and tell us all about their trip

Welcome!
I've been enjoying your stuff overall. It's nice to hear more non-American accents.
With the fairly recent arrival of two Germans, I am reminded that in the past there was a SongFight title of "Man Speaking German."
