Get Ready to GET BOOTLEGGED! :D

Post by blgisonsongfight »

Felicitations malefactors! I am endeavoring to misappropriate the formulare for the development of excellent songwriting! WHO WILL JOIN ME?!?!
A. If anyone got that reference, I appreciate your taste in television.
B. But seriously, hi. My name is Mike, but call me Bootlegged Waters. I just took up guitar in October, and though I'm a filmmaker at heart, I would definitely like to form a band somewhere along the line, you know, once I get... better. And competent. But anyhow, I found out about SongFight a few days ago, and thought it'd be a great way for me to work on and fine-tune my songwriting and playing skills; to get some constructive (hopefully) criticism and all that. Look out for my first submission once they finally post this week's challenge...

Welcome to Songfight! Please be Awesome!

(Also welcome to the Songfight Gap, that beautiful time when you are ready to do a song but the new title isn't up yet)

I think it was Armagetron Advanced, which is a game that simulates the light cycle scenes from Tron. I decided to use "FormerDominator" as my name because it sounded cool, and then I started actually dominating every round. I haven't been able to replicate that success since that week, so now my username is actually relevant.

Oh man, Armagetron was awesome. Do people still play that?

I dunno. I have it on my computer but haven't played in awhile. But now that you mention it, I think I'm going to.

I recall playing it for a while. I wasn't terribly good at it. Fun game, though.

I just reinstalled it. Wow, I remember when its 1.5ish MB download size was "that's so BIG."

It runs beautifully on my modern system with all the options maxed out. :D
