Medium ... I could go for longer shirts, but every time I buy a large, it's too huge.

Ditto. Where are the Euro sizes? I seem to fit better where they don't design around beer bellies.

When I was skinny (see photo fluffy referenced recently. No, I'm not going to link it, have some initiative, people), I used to wear L, even though M would probably fit, just because I wanted to cover up the scrawn. I also wanted to be beefier. It was a big goal in my life. I wanted fat on my eyelids. Really. It was my biggest dream.

Eventually, I got fat on my eyelids. I had to move on to XL and even XXL to achieve the same fit I was used to. Then I found the beer and salad diet, and began losing some weight. I actually hit a point where I was proud of my body, got a tattoo, and started wearing shirts that fit. That's an L. These days, even though I have gained a few of the pounds back, I still go with the L, hoping to embarrass myself into dropping 10 or 20 pounds sometime soon.

SPUD

edit: damn this is one silly poll. so silly I forgot to vote.
