It is now official.
Songfight Live 2016 in New York City. The weekend of July 16 & 17th!
On the 17th, we will be playing at Sidewalk (6th and Ave A) from 6pm to 10pm (at least).
Give me a sense of who can come and who can't and I'll work on getting a good place for the 16th as well.

Count me in! I will most likely be there with a very loud rock trio. I don't normally do the two sets for multiple-band-names thing, but this year if possible I would love to do an acoustic set as well.

Duh, or whatever the proper positive equivalent is.
There's good rehearsal space near the Sidewalk (we need to book soon).
Are we thinking another Manhattan venue or Brooklyn? And, do other boroughs even count?

That is so tempting. Would LOVE to go to NYC again. But...I have this whole "unemployed" thing going on ATM. Actually, I am currently "self-employed" and doing quite well - but the lack of future certainty with that gig makes forward planning difficult.
Anyway - I won't say I'm coming - but I wont rule it out completely. A fortuitous break in the future may change circumstances.

I swear it has nothing to do with you, Niv, but life conspires to keep us from attending a SFL in New York.
I won't be able to make it unless I decide to abandon Leah, who will be just about 9 months pregnant by that time.

Songfight Live: Vic Firth and Afterbirth
I'm busy as all everloving shit these days, but I've been meaning to get back up in NYC for a while now. I'll see what I can do. Also, just finished building my new video/photo editing rig, and plugged in my old Tascam US600. Gotta see if it'll play nice with a pirated copy of Pro Tools. If so, I'll get back into the game.
