Song Fight! Live 2017 Musician Exchange

Post by fluffy »

Here's a separate thread for us to make promises we may not be able to keep.

Sockpuppet needs drums and would benefit from a keyboard player.

I can play drums and basic keyboard, violin, or electric cello for others as needed.

I have one song in mind that would really love a choral treatment, so I will likely reach out for those who can harmonize freely. I'll prepare lyrics, fake sheet and a mix to listen to in lieu of a rehearsal.

I am available to play guitar or bass at least Saturday night.
I am hoping to get there Thursday night and make the Friday gig as well.

I could also join the Roymond chorus, but you might not want me to: I do almost all of the backing vocals for Jerkatorium, but more often than not when I do a vocal track that I thought I'd nailed, I end up listening back in bewildered horror to find that I was way, way off pitch. So yeah, if quantity is more important than quality in the Roymond chorus then I'm your man.

Ran through my solo songs with a new drummer last night. It was pretty fun, but kind of exhausting. I haven't played guitar and sang for that long in a while. Gotta keep up the practicing to get my chops back up!

So I could still use a drummer that I can send my set list to so that they can at least get a rough idea of what rhythms to play.

All are welcome! I am an equal opportunity Song Fighter. I also haven't prepared much, yet.
