Song Fight! Live(Stream) - September 2020

So one idea I had was to submit a single "live" track each week, which would be more like a radio show rotation (or the original MTV!) but I'm not sure how well that idea would go over. It would be much easier to try to record 4 good take single tracks than a set of all good takes.

Hey all, we're going to start the stream around 7:30ET/4:30PT with some fighter interviews. The sets will begin at 9:00ET/6:00PT. For now, expect Add, Charm Offensive, Heine's medley, and Glenn Case. We can easily add late-breaking entries too.

Aight, a 3 track acoustic set is currently uploading on the Dropbox...wee. I went with "Good Trouble", "Please Move", and "Something's Wrong". I recognize 2/3 of those are my darkwavey goth tracks but when you're stuck with a drum machine, it works.

Edit: man, I flubbed the beginning of the first track. Don't give up on me lol.

Yeah! I just did a medley: all of my entries from the past 12 years I participated. Had to get all the ditties back in mind.
21 songs condensed to 7 minutes. Chronologically, of course. It was good fun.

BTW -- This is definitely in for tomorrow. I know it's gonna be a bad time for you, but it'll play sometime between 9 and 10 eastern US time.

Yeah, bad time for me, sorry! I was already sleeping... But I just watched it this morning. You were all great, it was good fun. Very likeable hosts.
I was deeply impressed by Glenn and his friends. (Did anyone else recognize Glenn's ever changing' beards?)

That was awesome! Really enjoyed all your sets. I have an earworm of the amazing "I Fell Flat" performance from Glenn & friends. (Heine: I noticed Glenn's beards too, I couldn't tell which was the before and the after. )

On a related not, are music videos By songfighters that weren't made for songfight desired? I have a few audiovisual performances from a few years ago if they fit, but they have nothing to do with songfight other than involving me.

Enjoyed watching the stream this morning (I wasn't hardcore enough to stay up till 4am for the live version). Great to see the dynamic hosting duo of Jeff and Leah again and the legendary Glenn Case. If I can convince certain others to get involved (i.e. the wife), I will try to bring back Stuff and Nonsense in video form.

We have a couple in the reservoir, and if I could do it again, I would've played them between interviews. But that's all for others to decide now.
