No, not happening :(
Aw dang, really?! :( That's a bummer. Maybe just a live iPhone filmed couple of songs?

Hey major praise to Glenn Case for his Brother Machine tribute. And to everyone that participated. But especially Glenn. That medley at the end might have been the single most impressive songfighty thing I've ever seen (or heard). Good job dude.

Hear, hear! The thought of coordinating that with so many participants, completely boggles my mind. Amazing stuff.

Damn, that Seth tribute was good. I honestly hadn't been exposed to his work before...yeah, he'd have gotten a lot of votes had I been around in his heyday. RIP to a great songfighter! And well, songwriter in general.

Well ... I've uploaded a fight for this week, a video I had done previously of another songfight song, a new version of an old songfight song of mine, and a cover of my favourite songfight song ever. Well ... the latter two are uploading now, if they fail you won't see them ... Hopefully you've got enough material that you can pick and choose the best stuff for the show and won't need it :p

I'm late. My camera battery ran out of juice midway through singing and I had to recharge it. Video for the live fight is exporting now. Will upload it when it's done and hope for the best. Ran out of time to do anything fancy. (Edit: it's probably going to be a little while before it's done because Video.)

Yeah, it was so good. I don't how Glenn is able to get all of that together so quickly and have it look like he spent months working on it.

I forgot about a friend’s Zoom wedding thing today so I am definitely going to miss at least the first part of the livestream, but the evening looks to be so long I’m sure I can tune in for at least part of the chat later. Sorry to be missing it in real time—have fun!

Hi everybody! It's been awhile for me too. I'll definitely see about doing something.
Hello! Those Landfills sets back in the 00s were some of the best times at the Songfight Presents... shows. Please, please submit!
haha I agree with Ken! We need more Landfills (or at least an attitude adjuster). Also, cool idea!
You guys are too kind. I miss the community and have very fond memories of it, both online and IRL. I'm humbled to have shared various stages with members of this community-- especially those who generously provided instrumental performances w/ me.

I have an 8 y/o daughter who walks around the house making up songs all the time. Pending her interest, I have a dream to perform live music with her someday and definitely to share Songfight with her.

re: this month - There was too much life and not enough month to get this done. I wrote an outline for an quasi-interview retrospective about how Derrick and I got into Songfight, my memories from the SF, Seattle, and Philly Songfight Presents... shows, the SFL in Austin and Boston shows, etc. I ended up with research to do (Example: Who did Derrick and I stay w/ that night in SF... It was Yook and-- ugh-- can't remember!)

There is a *chance* that I might be in for "Better Luck Next Year" for this fight. I've got about 2/3 lyrics written. We'll see.

There's always 2040 to try to get in on this again. I'll only be 63... >sigh<

Looking forward to tonight's stream, and I'm really glad the prior streams are on Youtube so I can catch up.

I'm pretty sure at least Mo and Yook were roommates. Damian (MC Frontalot) might have lived with them as well. Some combo of the three.

Just catching up on the last night's live stream now that I'm awake. Thanks for the cover art shoutout! It's been a handful of weeks since I've had a chance to do one, so I better get cracking for Better Luck Next Year...

(And yep, my art website is https://www.crumpart.net if all y'all don't mind a little shameless self promotion.)

I FAILED.

Hey, for some reason I can't view the recap of the live comments. Is there a YouTube admin setting for that?

For longer videos it usually takes them a while to show up, I think. Or at least that has been my assumption, maybe there's also an admin setting that needs turning on!

Yes, apparently it can take 1-2 days for long live stream recordings like the one from last night to be fully available. So far this morning I learned that on iOS in Safari (in the US anyway), right now when you try to watch it you only get the last two hours, starting in the middle of Pigfarmer Jr's video. Meanwhile on Android in Firefox in the US the whole thing works fine. Also in Firefox on a Mac I can get the whole thing. So if you're only trying on an iPhone or iPad maybe try on a laptop or desktop.

Where should one see livestream conversation? Youtube? Elsewhere? Obviously I’ve been playing catch-up with all of my watching because time zones, and I can’t see any of the conversation on any of the videos so far.
