Damn. This was a golden opportunity to write a song about Blindboy Boatclub and I missed it!

Good show everyone! I think someone had asked where I got the visuals for our set but the chat wouldn't show the link, so here it is: pexels dot com

A lot of cool free visuals can be found there!
I was particularly interested in that spiky-backed girl. Looked like something from The Cremaster Cycle or something.
It looks like it is just from a stock footage modeling shoot or something? She comes up a whole lot when you search "alien" on the pexels site!

I just caught up to the live fight, have seen most of this years procedings. Enjoyable all around.

Thing I liked the most: an actual live band, ala Gentle Brontosaurus. Great to see that here, despite how amazing all the split screen stuff is.

Thing I liked the least: non live "live" songs. Great performances/pieces, but as open minded as I consider myself, I like the traditional one live take in front of an audience or camera method best. Solo or group-wise.

Inexcusable: neglecting the amazing theme song that I submitted for bumper work. So the words were wrong, does it matter? No. No it does not. How many JB versions do we need? Sheesh!

Above opinions aside, it's great to see so many people involved in the greatest corner of the universe, SongFight!. Thanks to all for contributing, sharing, and even inspiring. Long live SongFight!!

P.S. Spud, I hope to meet you one day as well, before one of us bites it. Lets have a pint and share the stage.

Nuh uh, Fluffy. Tampa, 2007. Ask JB, he and Erik sat front row and heckled me the whole time. And, great video, by the way.

Ah, I missed that one. Sorry we didn't meet up then.

Anyway, I work with what I have, and what I have is massive chronic pain issues and no band. I absolutely appreciate the "live fight should be live" sentiment but we're not actually live right now, and I'm pretty confident this wouldn't have done nearly so well:

I was at that one with Emergency Pizza Party! We performed Calico Alley! I think it was 2008 though.

Yes Sweeney, it was '08, sorry. EPP was great, still have the CD you guys handed out that night.

Fluffy: not meant to be dismissive sounding of the videos, they were well done and I dug them all, seriously. Just expressing preference. And really, what did i submit, eh? Feel better soon.

Again, great job by all, and I appreciate the work to put this together for schlubs like me to enjoy. Peace.

I very much meant to use it. But then I was in a rush and it wasn't already in video form :( Hopefully someone rectifies at some point.

I actually ripped Paco's audio and meant to put a video to it, but ran into a time crunch as well.
Thought it was sedate and personified the Live ethos quite well. Plus it kicked ass.

I'll get it into the SF Listening Party rotation.
