I mean it’s out of range to drive there from Seattle in my 2018 Leaf, which has around 100 miles of range and the slower charge port standard that’s hard to find now.

On our road trip to SFL: Spokane, Mike Lamb and I stopped in Bend for the night and played an open mic at a combination bar/laundromat. A++ would go to Bend again, if circumstances permit.

Eh, if I had any ideas for how you could, I'd be more than happy. Just SF live does happen in Bend and someone needs to hire a piano technician for some reason (unlikely) , I have a very specific name NOT to hire.

FWIW, I now have a family event happening on August 27, so that weekend is no good for me.

Hard pass on the live event because of the country thang, but would love to record a set for streaming/youtube etc.

Hey folks. I haven't made any progress on this, other than getting out a tiny bit more in town and finding a couple more potential venues for a hypothetical event. For those of you that indicated that you were fully or cautiously interested, would you still be interested if the event were in September? That may be a more realistic time frame for booking something at this point. That would probably make it more difficult for those who have children in school and/or are school teachers.

Also there is a BA.5 Omicron sub-variant surge under way currently, so maybe that has changed folks' COVID concerns as well. I'm only looking at venues with outdoor stages and spaces, but, folks would still have to travel to get here and then we'd all be congregating so there would be some risks involved.

I'm doing all on-line classes this fall so Phoebe and I should* be good to go in September.

We both just had Covid a couple of weeks ago but apparently the vaccinations are working. I had mild symptoms and Phoebe had almost non-existent symptoms. We are both still in the 'want to go and can probably make it work' category. We are good with travelling and unless there's a severe outbreak at your location, we're good to visit, too.

*Barring some sort of project or deadline that can't be worked ahead etc.,
